You may be ambivalent about a family matter, but it's not because you don't care. Instead, you are so concerned that you see the advantages and disadvantages of more than one solution. You may even reach a point of frustration today and walk away from the whole thing. Don't give up so soon. It would be better to make a choice, even if you aren't one hundred percent sure.
Almost there, in fact im so pissed off with my worthless brother and my spineless mother ive admitted id like to escape to jimmy's house in the week. Screw that whole dont run away cliche, i know when its SAFER to get away than to stay and risk it.
I was minding my own business today, making something for tea, when my bro storms in having a fit about what my mum has made him. Since when can a 16 year oldnot make his own sandwich? But shes such an invertebrate she'll do anything just to please him. Which is where it went down with my dad.
So he has a hissy, and she yells and he yells (trip down memory lane much) and she throws the sarnie down the garden - honestly its like she wants the rabbits to die young from eating all that shite. Then he storms back out after calling her every name under the sun, and she screams that shes not going to drive him anywhere and he has to get his arse to his dads by bike. Which is fair enough, I cycle when I want to go out.
But later she's predictabally getting up and going out, going against what she said because she cant bear to let him down. And again, hes got one over on her and he knows it. And he sits there with a smug 'i know it all' look on his face like hes won it all again. And i fucking detest him for his fucking little ways, and i despise my mother for letting it all go on under her stupid nose. |
