I planted my redwood seeds today! I had to go like 2 miles into town to get compost and it was so heavy the checkout woman had to help me put it in the bag. Or maybe im just a weakling.
Then i had to shove it back on my bike. Gr! But if its what my babies like than im happy to do it.
There were 12 so I put 6 in the fridge. I'm doing them the posh way where you keep them in there for 2-6 weeks so its just like nature. The other 6 I put in pots and put them in the summerhouse cos its the warmest place I know. They don't like the light though, so I had to squirrel them away. Like vampires.
Now I gotta wait about 2 months until the strong ones start to grow up. I hope one survives! |
