Banned US Commercial About The National Debt

You have to love the head in the sand mentality our media outlets wish to keep the viewers in. We have some serious problems to deal with in our country and instead of pull back the curtain and see the doddering old man responsible for the smoke and fire, they'd rather keep the illusion that everything is fine and dandy...the whole nothing to see here, move along.

I want to do some more digging into the organization that paid for the ad and the REAL reason it was banned, although I am sure I could wager an educated guess. The group is called Citizens Against Government Waste and it seems their aim is to raise awareness about what is actually going on with our economics.

its not been completely banned as I see it quite often on quite a few channels - though mostly at night/early morning hours

IMHO, I think any American that wants to deny the crisis we are in, will not take the time to read the subtitles of a commercial in Chinese.
Of course, that's no reason to ban the commercial, but spreading anti-Chinese sentiment might be.

live in texas, its on anything not owned by the parent company of ABC aka walt disney.. they are the only ones who have banned it. So its on USA, SYFY, TNT, TBS etc etc. The article you linked to even states that only ABC has banned it... ABC owns all of the ESPN, and the discovery networks which includes also your history, TLC, the military channel, history channel, planet green and a few others....
But Universal which owns NBC, USA, TruTV and SyFy and many others. Fox which owns FX, fox news of course and their own sports channels all air it. As well as it has aired on most of ted turner's channels which frankly i find surprising considering his politics. But it often airs during "falling skies" and again.. late at night and early morning. I have yet to see it during "daytime or prime time programming" other then on Fox news and MSNBC

"A controversial television commercial about the U.S. national debt produced by Citizens Against Government Waste has been deemed "too controversial" by major networks including ABC, A&E and The History Channel." which is the statement from CAGW.. the thing is all these channels are owned by the parent company ABC ... all other channels are showing it. My guess it has something to do with the fact that Walt Disney empire is in talks for another theme park in China...
