So my
Rylee is sick. His school called yesterday and sent him home early. They said he had been crying since they picked him up (8am) until the time they brought him home (12pm), he had a fever of
100.2, wouldn't eat or drink anything, and his eyes kept matting shut.
Broke my heart. So I took him to the ER, because his doctor is outta town until Monday, and found out that he has infections in
BOTH of his eyes! We walked in and triage checked his temp...
101.2! The ER physician said that I couldnt help that he got sick. He said that he could have gotten the infections from anything. Could have been from when we went to the Circus, or from rubbing his eyes on my shirt, or from touching the dog and messing with his eyes. Either way, he said it wasnt my fault. But Rylee is having trouble seeing and when he can see...he has an extreme sensitivity to light. So my house is dark right now. lol. Dr prescribed him some ointment to put both of his eyes for 5 days. so far he hasnt woke up with his eye matted shut. But he is also
teething so I contribute his fussiness to that.
OK to explain his school.... Rylee is only 6, going on 7 months old. He was accepted into Tomorrow Child's Learning Center, because at 5-6 months, he was unable to roll over, sit up, or reach for stuff on his own (without me handing out to him). Now that he has been there...he's rolling over and reaching out on his own
On another note, I think I am getting sick now too. At first I thought it was an allergic reaction. I happen to be allergic to my most favorite fruit...
STRAWBERRIES. Well, I had made a banana pudding (with the wafers) and when I went to get me some, the kids had put some strawberries in it. I picked them out thinking I'd be ok. Well, pretty soon after eating it, my throat was swelling and I was having trouble swallowing. BUUUUT, then I woke up feeling achy all over. So it wasnt an allergic reaction. I am getting sick.
But I will not miss work. I miss work then that it 1pt against me. And it takes a yr to work off 1 pt!! So I'd rather suffer at work cause it's not like I'd get to sleep it off at home anyways lol.
Gonna feed us.
