that marine <3

- October 14, 2008 - that was the day my boy left and embarked on his own journey to manhood. i always knew that i loved him from the time our lips first touched but things were complicated then and i ran from the truth.
- January 12, 2009 - i saw him for the first time in 3 months and wasn't prepared to see the man that came up my driveway. i hadn't been there for one of the best day of his life [1-9-09]. but when he wrapped his arms around me, i knew that running was no longer an option.
- today - it's been over 4 months and i have only seen him a couple times. they say absence makes the heart grow fonder. and it really does. i fall in love with him all over again when i get to look into his beautiful baby blues.
no matter how hard this life will be for us, i will always stand by his side. through any pain, i know we will have each other.
it's truly an honor to be able to spend my life with my best friend and hero.
yea he's a Marine but more than that, he's my other half.
