Geez when are they coming home I thought to myself as I sat watching t.v,sadly awaiting my parents arrival. They did this every Friday, go out drinking and leave me home by myself. I know what your thinking, why is this girl complaining, she is home by herself, She should be partying,right? I wish is was like that but its not. You see, my dad is a violent drunk. I am just waiting for them to burst through the door, dad screaming at mum, getting all hyped up, ready to use her as a punching bag. I don't know why he acts like this. I plead him to quit drinking but he just shruggs me off. I don't know why mum doesn't just take me and leave him for good but she just doesn't. I usually get a friend to sleep over because he never does it when there is someone there but tonight mum said no. Tonight there was no one, no one to protect mum and no one to stop dad. Tonight is going to be hell.
