I have to say, ive noticed a sense of community among OD members. It seems like since I wrote my first entry on here about being from OD, so many former (and current) OD members have joined me as faves. I think all of us feel like we have devoted a part of ourselves to OD and we are all pretty bummed about the recent problems it has been having. Although I devoted 6+ years to open diary, I have to say being here on bloop is refreshing. Almost like a fresh start and a new adventure. I am so glad that so many of my open diary friends are also here on bloop-its like the best of both worlds. Same friends, new diary. Love it! Im so looking forward to meeting new people on here as well

I totally agree - it's awesome that those of us who've moved over here and banded together so quickly. Plus, with everyone being so new and introducing themselves, it's a totally fresh start! I love meeting and reading people from all different walks of life that I might never have stumbled across on OD! The points you earn are for commenting on new members' diaries - the accumulated points can be used to "buy" features like OD-Plus had - preview entries, no ads, etc.

(: Many of us long-time Bloopers are refugees from the FOD days, 7-8 years ago!

Bloop plus (I believe it's 30 points for a month?) is like the half-step between free and paid service.

I love it that so many people are from OD, too! I really love OD and I hope it's issues are resolved, but I like it here too. So i'll keep both Not sure what the points are, but I've gotten a few. Haha

I had to get MacsGirl to show me how, haha! When you enter a new entry, make sure you're in HTML mode. For HTML mode, click on "Turn HTML editor on" under the drop-down menu titled "Other Options". Then, click on the second photo icon (2nd green icon) and copy the image address from photobucket or whatever you use. Took me a while to get it even with directions, hah!

so glad you found me hun!! it's weird being away from OD but i think with time this will start to feel like home and everyone is so welcoming! i have no clue about the points either!! *hugs ya*

I'm not gonna leave Bloop. I'm gonna cross post at OD. I can't see just totally deserting everything and everyone that I know. If it wasn't for the PEOPLE I'd leave. I've got my $100 worth. Its just depressing to even think about
