What to do?
Where to start?
I have sort of a problem...well, not really a problem, but more of a "I don't know what to do" situation. See there's this guy I'm friends with. His name is Joe. And I REALLY like him. There's just something about him that I get a good feeling from. He's extremely intelligent, mature, and so awesome with Trystan. He'll even sit down and play with Trystan and his Thomas trains making little ramps and stuff for him to use. I met him back in the summer, and since then he's become someone that I care very deeply for. We have a lot in common - for example, I found out last night that he likes to listen to meditation music, which is something I enjoy sometimes too - Not very many guys out there who are into that kind of stuff. But I think it's so sweet.
Anyway, over the last few months, my feelings for him have grown into what feels like more. I'm not in love with him, but I can see myself being very happy with him. The problem, however, is that because of past experiences he's had, he has sworn off relationships. He is convinced that he will never have a relationship that works out. And that the only way he will ever have a kid is more likely adoption. He's remained single and 100% abstinent for the last 3 years and doesn't plan to change his mind about any of it anytime soon.
This is frustrating for me. It's quite the challenge to act as though those feelings aren't there when he's around. Doug, his brother Chris and my friend Alicia all know I like him. They're quite surprised about it actually. But Alicia said to me once that she could see us together. It's so weird...I never thought in my life I'd find a guy like him to want to be with...only to have no choice other than to keep it to myself for fear of losing him as a good friend.
I don't know what to do. *le sigh*
Had a good Easter weekend. Took Trystan to Doug's on Friday, and had Easter there yesterday. Trystan had his first easter hunt. The Easter bunny was very nice to him and brought him A LOT of chocolate and candy. My nephew Johnathan was also there, which is always fun cuz that kid is just so darn cute. Then Trystan and I came home today, to have Easter dinner with my family. The Easter bunny managed to hit our place too, bringing Trystan a baby blue bunny and some race cars, as well as some chocolate. I think he did quite well this year. LoL. He definitely had LOTS of energy! Getting that kid to sit down was nearly impossible. Haha. But he enjoyed himself. He always knows when something special is happening because he gets treats. Smart boy.

We're not mean. I swear. LoL. Ken sleeps like a rock, so we pick on him. We put this bear on his head to see if it would wake him up. It moves and sings "baby mine". He didn't budge.
