Oh happy day...
Well...what is there to write about today.
Trystan had his first dentist appointment today. He was SUCH a good boy while the dentist was looking at his teeth and cleaning them. There was no problems at all! The dentist said that Trystan's mouth is a bit small, which means when his adult teeth come in there might not be enough room for them to grow. I guess that's an issue I'll have to deal with when he starts losing his baby teeth and the adult ones start coming in. Other than that, his teeth are perfect and I was told that I'm doing a great job at keeping them clean.
Score for mommy. LoL.
Wednesday Trystan has an appointment with the throat specialist. I'll be finding out at that point more information about his sleep apnea, and when the surgery for his tonsils and adenoids will be.
I got a message about half an hour ago from a friend of mine that I haven't seen since I was 13. I've had her on my facebook for years, but I honestly don't talk to her very often at all. Anyway, this is what she said:
hey girly was just thinking bout you i really need to say some thing to you so here it goes how can anyone complain bout your parenting skills everyday you are doing something with your son like crafts taking him to parks and keeping him busy keep up the great work you are a great mother and dont let anyone tell you different i am so happy for you hunnie
That message honestly made my day. It's nice to be aknowledged as a good mom to your kid every once in a while. Especially when you really don't hear it enough and you doubt your abilities as a parent as often as I do - yea I really need to work on my self esteem...lol - It made me feel good. And to have someone that I hardly talk to say those things to me...well, it's nice.
Anyway, I suppose that's it. Gonna post some pictures now. I bought Trystan a bunch of craft stuff last week and he absolutely loves it.
Awe, your son is so cute and don't worry, I sometimes doubt myself too but keep your head up! I can't wait until Chase can do stuff like that (crafts & such).. those are the things I look forward to. Great pictures. May I add you to my favorites?
As a matter of fact, I do. I haven't recently because Trystan takes up a lot of my time but I've been scrapbooking since I was about 12. I actually made Trystan's baby book when he was born instead of just going out and buying one. I love doing crafts and making things.
