Today has been such a long day!
Mommy and daddy made Pomanders last night to hang on the tree and they were so interesting! I especially liked that golden and red sequined ribbon money used to tie them with! They even stopped to play a little chase with me, and just like I thought I caught that orange, it smelt pretty good to. Speaking of smells Mommy got was that she smells like a Christmas Tree for her lighty up thingy Ma'gig. I think she calls it a Scentsy ? Her and Daddy seem to love it but I could live with out it, that stuff is strong!
Cookies are good though, and Mommy had been making them all day. I'm a big fan of icing as long as it's made with milk! Tons of it! I however am not a fan of this tin Daddy got Mommy to lock away those cookies. Can you believe they are hiding them from me ? I miss the days when Mommy had to use plastic wrap and a good wack would send them all over the floor! Daddy says I am worm free now, but oh that tablet was poison! I'm not being dramatic! It messed my tummy up real bad and well let's just say I deserve those locked up cookies all for me! I've finally given up trying to climb the tree, all it's gotten me is trouble!
It's been pretty cold over here and the best place to sleep is in a lap with a blanket anyway. Mommy always has one with her when she writes and Daddy has a jacket. Although they've been up running around, and say tomorrow they have to go out again. : < Christmas time is a lonely time for a kitty. I make sure to meow loudly and demand attention is always on me when they are home! Seems to be working, since lately me and Mommy watch Christmas movies together quite often when she isn't baking.

By the way Mommy says it's not polite to not introduce yourself in a diary. My name is Mirage I was adopted by Mommy and her ex human. Things happened and Mommy had to leave, I got very sad and wouldn't eat, but Mommy hadn't forgotten about me and she took me to live with her and her aunt! There was a little human there and we became good friends! Soon though Mommy met Daddy which was good because he is a lot calmer than Mommy's last Human. We both moved down from Texas to Amish Country! I hated the car ride.. I threw quite a fit unless Mommy held me.. She told me it wasn't safe though and I had to sit in a cart at her feet : <
I got to stay in my first Hotel!! I really liked it! Plus there were no other animals! Only me.
I liked Daddy right away but I was still a Momma's girl. Eventually I came around and now from time to time he's my favorite! I guess it depends on how long Mommy sleeps in, sometimes she takes forever to get out of bed! I left behind furr friends when I left Texas. Gizmo, Yoshi, Gypsy, Eddie, & Ruby. Eddie and Ruby lived with the little human, but it's okay because they were dogs and I prefer dogs. The other three were cats, but I guess they were okay, they went to stay with Mommy's last human. I hope they are having a good Christmas! |
