As I write this I'm currently not happy with my job I applied for a promotion to a keyholder and I've taken extra shifts on my day off and also helped out with freight and staying late and starting early there and talking to my district manger she said to me "I really want you as our keyholder at this store with this team..." but come to find out later though my other coworkers that wanted to have the position that my district manger actually said this "I don't want him as that stores keyholder" and after doing all the work for it and other things I come in to work to work my normal shift I found out I didn't get it and they gave it to some slacker that don't complete his shift and ditches early when they find out that his significant that has gone out with another person that they were sleeping with and yet I still haven't even got a reason why I wasn't selected for the promotion from either my store manger or my district manger and I also applied for the same keyholder position at a different store but within the same company and I still haven't heard about that yet and I'm starting to wonder if I will never get promoted within this company and I don't if I should go to the higher ups or just let it go and keep working my butt off for this company that says one thing and does another and there's also changes in the store with a new manger that is super micro-managing people saying what they can and can't do and writing people up for having a either over or short register by way under the limit (5.00) |
