Since I just wrote the most uninteresting entry on LJ ever, I thought I would cross-post and bore you all as well

I have had a jolly nice day. I went to Belton House, which is about 5 minutes from my house. I go there quite a bit because there are nice parklands to walk in, but today I didn't sneak through the back gate and I actually paid to go in! *gasp* I also ended up renewing my National Trust membership, which had run out gosh darn it.



Some of you may recognise the building from miscellaneous tv programmes... Basically any BBC period drama, and also a couple of movies (I believe the outside was used in the Da Vinci Code).

Ok I need eatingz. I must also photograph Archie at some point so you can see how big she has got.

GOSH, I TOTALLY THOUGHT IT WAS THE SAME PLACE WHERE I WENT TO BIBLE SCHOOL. IT'S NOT, BUT SIMILAR DESIGN, YO! LIKE, THE WHOLE CASTLE THING AND THE SLOPEY GRASS AND STEPS AND FLOWER BEDS. ALTHOUGH THIS ISN'T REALLY A CASTLE, I GUESS - NO TURRETS. STILL LOOKS SIMILAR THOUGH!
