Hi all. I've been off work since Wednesday (officially, not because I'm sick).
Wednesday I went to Burrough Hill, which is an iron age fort near where I live. At the dizzying height of 690 feet, it's also one of the highest points in Leicestershire (don't laugh, we can't all have mountainous terrain!).
It was mostly freezing cold and foggy, but I took my camera anyway!

(I think all photos should be taken in an old age style. I love it.)
Yesterday (Thursday), I went to the beach. Again, it was freezing cold, but it was sunny instead of foggy. I ate a really nice chicken, bacon and sweetcorn pasta salad at lunch (seriously, it was sooo good!).
It was dead, but I poked at it for a while anyway.
The tide was out, it's not a badly designed pier!
