I've read 43, and abandoned 4. I have this thing about abandoning books, so I'm not surprised that's a small number. I don't like to leave books unfinished in case they get better at the end and I have misjudged them. |

We didn't do any of those school texts at Walton, when I was doing my literature A-level at the start of the course the teacher asked us all which books we had recently read and which were our favourite, there was one girl in the class and the only book she had ever read outside of school was Jordan's autobiography.

I personally think Austen is more overrated than the Brontes... aside from Wuthering Heights because OMG I frickin hate that book.
Sounds like you're actually quite a reader. I feel like I should do this, since so many of my faves have, but I'm afraid that I won't have read very many of these.
