Well, this has been interesting. It might be a long update...haven't done anything in a while here...
First off, the long absence, which I shall dub "The Darkest Days of Bloop" thanks to my enormous ego, was caused my yet another move. This time to Grand Rapids, since I had very limited options in Lansing, and some plans that included the Graphic Design classes at Ferris State. It'll be useful once I transfer to some place nicer to finish college. Anyway, I moved up here to GR and got all settled in and started getting used to a new routine. I've met several new people who qualify as friends, which is always nice, considering I didn't know more than a few people here to begin with.
Lately, I've been trying to get into classes at GRCC as a quick way to get some core classes out of the way. Thanks to the idiot who was helping me with enrollment, I somehow got classified as an out-of-state student, resulting in my tuition being an extra $280 per credit or some such. Which resulted in one of my classes costing me over a thousand dollars. Since I was going entirely on financial aid (i still lack a job, though that may be remedied soon, information pending) this caused all of my classes to drop me. For a while, it looked like I somehow owed the college somewhere in the area of $850 and without any way to pay it. Then I went through a lengthy process in which they uncovered the fact that, surprise! I've never lived outside of Michigan. To make up for their monumental fuck up, I don't owe the school anything, and am now classified as a non-resident, since i haven't lived in GR for six months yet. So my classes, IF I can get them back, will be affordable. However, since classes started on the 7th, I may just have to wait a semester. Thank you enrollment center, for screwing me over like that.
I've also been thinking about writing some lately. Don't have any solid ideas as to what yet, but I'll let you know if I get something solid in mind.
Well, that didn't take as long as I thought. Huh.
