Well well well....where did I last leave off? I'd not thought about looking at the last real entry and I'm too lazy to go back now. I think the most recent big news is that I've moved. I've only moved down the street, but the new place is much bigger and a good sight nicer as well. You'd have to see both places to appreciate the full difference between the two, but I suppose it's like comparing a brick shit house to a palace (in my mind anyway.)
As far as my job goes...well that's a bit of a sorry affair. My shift director switched departments and there seemed a good chance I'd get his job, and the full time benefits and pay raise that came with it. But when the company had a chance to hire someone who can't do the job and can't dead lift 25 pounds merely because he'd been with the company longer, of course they went and hired the bleeder. The first thing he said to me was a query on whether or not I knew how to do my job. You know, the one I've been doing for a year and a half or so. Since he has no real power over whether I get written up or anything though, I've been working to pay him back. He makes things difficult for me and my co-workers, so we make things difficult for him. It's a wonderful system where we seem to have a decent upper hand.
As a side note, I've also taken up learning how to program simple games and am helping write the narrative for a game my friends are coding. So that's been interesting as well.
