It seems that everyone on Bloop (or at least half of them) are up in arms about politics lately, either with well thought out debates as a conservative or a liberal, or with absolutely no idea what they're talking about and just flinging shit...as a conservative or liberal, but it would seem mostly the conservatives, as they have a lot of people on their side who give Christians, conservatives, and the human race in general, a bad name.
In honor of this great debate, I will take my political apathy to a new level starting now. My stance on healthcare right now is: Who Gives A Shit? Seriously, either it will go through, or it won't, and no one here is going to have nearly enough say in the matter to change it. So you support the idea. If it doesn't go through, things go on as they have for your whole life. So you don't support it. If it goes through, what're you going to do about it? Write a angry letter? Whether or not it happens, people will be angry and people will get stupid about it. And all I can really think is that since I don't really have the power to make it happen, or keep it from happeneing, it's one less thing that I need to be worrying about. I think everyone should have at least some level of political apathy. It keeps you nice and calm and stress-free when it comes to any issue involing suit-wearing asstards selling their latest backhanded bullshit.
Oh politics, is there anyone you can't make stupid? |
