Wow...where do I begin?
Let's start with my bundle of energy. I still haven't picked a name. Seems that he's getting stuck with Jack. I need to figure it out, because I can't put Anklebiter on his papers for the people. He's a purebred so I need to get him registered. *sigh* However, he's soo utterly adorable! he sleeps in my lap or arms, and refuses to sleep anywhere else. I think he's spoiled. He wont' go outside to go bathroom though at night...it gets too cold. I'm not sure what to do about that. He also...LOVES to bite my socks while they are on me. Oh! Funny story...couple nights ago...he went to grab the blanket with his teeth. Well, he got the blanket alright...along with biting Chris' crotch. Poor baby!! Well last night, he wanted to play. I wasn't expecting him to actually listen to me...so I told him.."Bite Daddy's ass." The rascal actually did!! Then commenced to dig at his ass. It was sooo funny! I mean, I felt bad, but it was still funny.
Aiden is in the hospital. He has adenovirus. Apparently, it's the killer cold. Poor baby has pink eye(part of it), and is on oxygen. He looks so miserable. It's heartbreaking. Well last night I went to watch him so his mama could go by home...he was doing much better. He wasn't crying so much and I got him to actually sleep. Although, he's still not over it.
I got into it with Chris' parents. Again. This time, I was ready to move out. We ended up going over all the issues, and Chris says it should be better now.
Oh!! I almost forgot! The divorce. I went to court on the 3rd. First, we went to the wrong courthouse, then to the wrong floor( I saw him push 2, yet we ended up in the basement). Once I was in there, I got scared. It looked so much more official than back home. Well, I nearly broke down crying. My voice broke...all because the judge told me he didn't think he could grant my petition because Hacker had never lived in Alaska, so he thought he didn't have jurisdiction over him. He ended up doing research in there, then left to do research. In the end, he granted it, based on the fact that he was served and he ignored it, which placed Hacker under his jurisdiction. Thank GOD! In a couple weeks, I should have the decree in my hand. Only thing is he asked about splitting assets, debts, and property. I said no...because I know Hacker won't let me have anything anyway, and I would much rather have the divorce that the furniture. I'm just glad it's over. I'm not telling him though...let him find out via the papers. He didn't even know I went to court. But it's really over. Now, when I get those papers, I can get my permit. My permit is still from Kentucky for crying out loud. I can't even get a state ID card. BAH!!
I'm scared to drive after all this time, and on snow, no less. I wish this had been settled when I wanted it to, because then I could adjust slowly. But at least it's over. |
