I've been a good girl, and keeping to the doctors plan for my weight loss. I started eating out less, changing my food habits at home. I must say it works...in three weeks I've lost 8 pounds! That's right...8 pounds!
Weddings...planning this one is driving me crazy! It's so chaotic. We finally settled on having it in the Smokys, but now we have to pay for everything else too, and make it happen in 6 months time.
Chris' birthday just passed. He's now 24, and I gave him a month of WoW. Great present, right? It was something he's been wanting and I could afford.
Still no word on full time. They don't have the list out yet, so we're still rocking it like we do. Hopefully, something happens soon.
Mr. Jackers is hurting all the time. We had some drama with the neighbors behind his mom's house, and the guy threatened him, and us. He thought because I was a woman he could intimidate me. Well he also encouraged Jack to go under a hole in the fence. Later we saw him standing on three legs. We waited, and he got worse. We took him to the ER, and the dr said it could be several things, including a fracture, or something called Legg-Perthes disease. He thought from the xrays that it was Legg-Perthes...a genetic disease which would require surgery to remove part of his leg bone. We took him in for his surgery, and the surgeon called. He thinks it's just a fracture. So, for six weeks he gets to be limited in activity and on pain meds. If he gets better, then they just do the crypt-orchid surgery to remove his balls. If not, they do both. I just want him better! He's on bed rest basically, and he's a Jack Russell Terrier! I just hate to see him like this.
