Hello, NoJoMoers! I'm posting even earlier than usual today, due to a busy day ahead. I realise in some parts of the world it isn't yet 7th November - but hey, when it is, the prompts will be here all ready for you!
Thanks to ~Just the 2 of Us~ for submitting a prompt. If anyone else would like to submit a prompt, please go ahead - it's great to have prompts submitted by different Bloopers (and it'd mean I don't have to come up with so many myself!). Here are today's prompts:
7th November - NoJoMo Prompts
1. Your spouse/significant other (SO) was just diagnosed with a chronic illness that is not terminal but means that you can never be intimate again. Knowing that intimacy is an important and natural part of life, your spouse/SO gives you permission to find intimacy with someone else. Would you do it? What if you were the one unable to ever be intimate again, would you give your spouse/SO carte blanche to find intimacy elsewhere?
2. Voltaire claimed that "The longer we dwell on our misfortunes, the greater is their power to harm us." Do you agree? Why or why not? How do you deal with your own misfortunes?
3. What does the word 'home' mean to you? What do you consider home? Are there more than one homes in your life? Do you have an online home, such as Bloop or another site? Is there a person or group of people in your life who feel like home when you are with them? Or is home always a tangible place for you?
