....Tastes a lot like lemons...not lemonade! So I was working at Zaxbys. OK. The boss sucks ass. He bitched me out a few days ago bc this girl didn't answer the phone the right way. Whatever. So this weekend I'm going home bc my sister is having her baby shower. I already requested off like 2 months ago. At the beginning of the year, he had all the managers sign this paper that he typed up. It just said the basic rules and made sure we understood them. One was that every employee could request off up to 7 days per month but you can only request off once in the month. So basically if you wanted any time off then you would want to take off your whole week bc that would be the only time off you would get. Yeah, last month I requested off a weekend so I could have some down time. So what? Well he up and decides that he wants "someone who is willing to work for Zaxbys." So I
m basically fired. Thank god I already have another job and I was going to put in my 2 weeks, but that jerk slashes those plans in half. Anyway, so I now work at Panda Express. I do half the work for more pay. I don't see the downfall in this. It just pisses me off that he just up and fires me after working there for almost a year. I told one of the other managers that I knew once I did it and he found out the reason why, then I would be let go anyway. So I wasn't really concerned about it and I finished out my shift just so I didn't leave on bad terms not like it really matters since I'm NEVER going to work there again on ANY terms. But on a better note, my bestest work friend from Zaxby's (who's quitting tonight  ) is the one who got me hired at Panda! So at least we'll be working together! I can count on that girl any time!
My little girl just ate her peaches and then a full bottle of formula. She fell asleep and then woke up for a few minutes and (quietly!!!!) took in the world around her and now she's back asleep. She has the biggest bags under her eyes. I feel so sorry for her. I put her on a schedule and she stuck to it for a good while. But I don't think I was letting her sleep enough? She got 2 naps about 2 hours long each. She's been sleeping all day pretty much for the past 2 days. I'm hoping this sleep will make her feel better. She's been pretty finicky lately. |
