And it was fan-tabulous!!! It went woosh-woosh-woosh while mine went woosh.....woosh......woosh. Oh I just couldn't believe it! Exactly at 140 bpm. Dr. Watson said it would be somewhere between 120 and 160...I just didn't know it would be right smack dab in the middle! It makes me super excited that peanut is right where it needs to be.
I got the PAP done today. It was everything that I remember it being...except the little blue thing I wore was long...like trench coat long. I remember them being super short like maybe reaching your hip bones. It tickled and I remember my first one being kinda painful..not OMG I want to kill you painful but uncomfortable I guess would be a better word for it. And she said that I would have light spotting...which I did.
We went over everything that I can and cannot have. Did you know you were supposed to heat up sandwich meat before you eat it?! I didn't. I can't have soft serve ice cream because some type of bug can live in there and it causes pregnant women to get sick whereas it doesn't affect normal people. I'll never eat soft serve ice cream again! That just grossed me out. Of course, the fish issue. I'm not a big fish eater anyway unless it's tuna fish from a can and I still have to be craving that.
She gave me a prescription for off brand Claritan that's apparently better and safer for pregnant women. I was like sweet! And it only cost me $3!
We get to find out peanut's sex on the 27th. We are super excited! And then I get to have more blood work done for abnormal defects which I was fine with until I found out that it's going to involve a needle and my bellybutton! I think I almost passed out. I already hate needles especially long ones and then the fact that it's not going in my arm just makes me nervous. I should have asked if everyone gets this done but I was too concerned with a needle and my bellybutton. :/
