Yeah, totally spent mine sleeping! It's the first new year that I haven't stayed up to watch the ball drop or drink or go to a party. It's also the first year that I've had a newborn to spend it with. So that's what we did. Kevin and I let Baby B sleep in between us for the night. It didn't help that there were fireworks and cannons going off into the wee hours of the morning and her room is right at the front of the house. I had put her in her room at the beginning of the night. She was in there for maybe a half hour before she started crying. Too many loud noises. And it was LOUD in her room. So i guess for the 4th of July, she'll be sleeping with us again. But it was nice. Having our little family all snuggled up together under the blankets and falling asleep to a movie.
Kevin had to be at work early this morning so instead of us taking turns when she cries like we usually do, I took the whole night shift so he could sleep. He was kind of upset with me that I didn't let him "help" with her last night. Seriously?! I would love him forever if he would take a whole night shift so I could sleep soundly for 10 hours! But it's cool. I mean I only spend all day with her and then I spent all night with her and now we're chillin' on the couch together while I wait for her to fall asleep so I can finally make myself some lunch because I'm starving! But it's all good, go ahead and get mad at me for thinking of you. I don't mind. I'm sure she'll eventually do the same thing.
I'm bored. I think I'm going to fill out some of her baby book information before I forget it all. It's something I need to keep on top of
lithium layouts.
