So I have the whole weekend off. Kevin's taking us to the Biltmore Estate on Sunday. We're spending ALL DAY there. And he said that I could spend money there! Which means I can get some awesome flowers for my garden. He said that we can't take pictures inside the estate but we can outside all we want! So if I wanted, I could have a garden just like theirs. He said they also sell everything that's inside the house in the gift shop too, so I could essentially decorate my house like theirs too. So I really wanted to get little miss a really cute outfit so we could take some professional quality pictures, but I guess I can use one that we already have.
I switched little miss to the Alimentum formula. She's not projectile vomiting anymore but she still pukes up a lot of it. Not something I'm concerned about anymore really. Now it just dribbles out of her mouth and lands on her bib. I can handle washing bibs every day. I want that stuff that they gave us at the hospital. She kept that stuff down just fine. I'd keep her on that until she was one if she would keep it down.
I'm trying to get her on the fast track to crawling. I put a bright colored toy a few inches away and put her on her tummy (she hates being on her tummy) and I put my hands against her feet so she'll push herself towards the toy and then congratulate her when she reaches the toy. She did it once and then got bored. She's really good about turning in circles but she's a pain when it comes to trying to get her to roll over. I've pretty much given up on it. I figure she'll start rolling when she feels like it. I'm trying to get her kind of walking too. She's not great at it, but she's only 3 months. I'm sure it'll get better as time goes on. I like being home with her all day. I feel like I can get more done and I know how she's progressing. I found out yesterday that she likes to hang mid-air. My kid's so strange.
So now I have to call around for a new pediatrician and find one that will be fine with what I'm doing. I think I'm going to try and start introducing solids around 4 or 5 months. I know it's not advised but I'm not spending 25 dollars on a can of formula every 3 days. I'm broke enough as it is.
