It's been awhile since I've updated. Austin left over the weekend to go to Denver to start work. We went looking at houses about 3 weeks ago, and the house we want we need a big down payment, so I'm going to stay here for a few months longer for I can put all my money and most of his in a savings account to save for the down payment. He is going to stay with one of the guys he is going to be working with, and all he has to pay for his is food. So we can put most of his money away and most of mine.
The house we are looking at is a beautiful home. I'm sure that home will be sold by the time that we have the money, but we can have that same house build. It has 3 levels, on the main floor there is a formal living room and formal dining room, kitchen, family room, half bath and den. Then up stairs there is 4 bedrooms and the laundry room. I've never seen the laundry room upstairs, but I like the idea. And the masterbath and a full bathroom. Austin wants the basement finished that is one reason it is going to cost us more, and we have to come up with more, because he wants it finished. We are going to have a game room down there, with another family room, and one bedroom and bathroom. He wants a wet bar in the game room.
The fun part is, that when we have the money, we get to pick everything out in the house, all the colors, carpet, countertops, I think it will be fun.
The kids are doing great, they are getting so big. Taty is crawling everywhere, she still hasn't tried to walk at all, she will do that all in her own time. She has 8 teeth now. Journey has been having a blast this summer, she has done alot of swimming and playing on her swingset.
She has spend a little bit of time this summer with Matt's parents, they came over and played with her a couple of times. Matt came by and saw her and talked to me about us moving. He didn't really say much, expect that he wasn't going to give up his rights, and I told him that is fine. I told him, just because you don't give up your rights, still doesn't make you a daddy. I said, you have to spend time with her to get that title, and of course I don't think that is in his plan. I was surprised to see that he did have a picture of her up on his facebook page. And he actually acknowleged her as his daughter. So maybe there is hope for him, one can only hope!
It's really different living with Austin's parents without him here. He's only been gone since Friday, but it is still strange. But, I know they don't mind me being here. We are hoping to have most the money by Nov 1st and have me down there by then. The only problem is that Austin doesn't want to move into an apartment, just to turn around and move again. We will just have to see what happens, we really haven't made plans for date when I will be moving there. Not sure when we can have the money, and not sure when we do get the money when they can start on the home. I've never build a home, so don't know how it all works.
