Well, I haven't written in a long time. Seems like time just gets away from you at times. Jan. 11th was Journey's 3rd birthday, seems like I just had her, times goes by so fast. And my birthday was on Feb. 1st.
First Journey's birthday, we had a huge party for her with friends from her pre-school, and lots of family. We went to a Jungle Gym for kids, they do parties for kids. The kids had a blast, and played till they were totally tired. Matt's Mom called and wanted to know if Matt could come, I said, sure. But, not his girlfriend or her kids. I said, this is Journey's day, and she doesn't even know him, little own know his girlfriend or her kids. I told her, if he ever takes the time to really get to know her, then she can move on to getting to know his girlfriend and her kids. I was really surprised that I saw him come, I really thought he would stay home when I said, no to his girlfriend. The party was from 4 to 8, and Matt stayed till 5:30, he said, he couldn't stay the whole time, which is fine. His parents stayed the whole time, and we all had a great time. Journey doesn't really understand who Matt is, but as she gets older she will understand and maybe he will be around more so it will be easy for her, we will have to see how that goes. Of course Austin called and talked to her, and he sent her roses to the party from him, it was so cute, flowers with a Teddy Bear, way cute! She told everyone look what my daddy got me. I thought that was so cute of Austin to do that for her.
Of course I got her a computer game for her and some clothes from me and Austin. She got a lot of Barbie stuff and baby doll stuff, she loves playing dolls. Matt's parents got her a cute wagon, and she put her dolls in it and took them for a walk. Then I put Taty in it and helped her walk her around, we didn't go far, because she kept wanting to jump out of it. Lot's of fun for the kids!
My birthday came and I got a dozen Peach Roses from Austin and a pretty braclet with my birthstone going around it. That night I went out to dinner with my family it was a great dinner, went to the Cheese Cake Factory....yummy. Then the next night I went out with some girlfriends for dinner and then to a club for some fun. It was alot of fun, my one friend Lindsey brought a cake to the restaurant, it was great! It was a blast to get out with out the kids for a night. Austin didn't say much about it. I think he has gotten better with the idea of me getting out now and then with friends.
So not really much else going on. Just birthdays, and everyday things. The girls are doing great, they are getting so big and learning so much. Taty still isn't really talking alot, but she sure is getting all over these days. And Journey is learning a mile a minute. The learning computer games are really teaching her a lot. I can't wait for Taty to start learning them, I know once she gets to really talking, she will take off with the learning games, as well.
Well, time to hit the hay. Girls get up early! |
