We had a great Christmas. Austin's family always has a Christmas Eve party, lots of family members and lots of food. It was so much fun, they have Santa come for the kids. Of course Journey wouln't go up and get her present, and if we got her close to Santa she screamed. I sure hope she grows out of that by next year. Of course not much for Tatyana, she just looked at him. But, what do you expect for 3 1/2 months old.....LOL.
The next morning we had to wake up Journey, I was so excited to see how she acted. So we got her up at 6:30. She loved her horse, we got her that huge horse, it's bigger than her. Of course she got a new doll and doll stuff and clothes and toys. She loved opening presents, but she didn't really know what it was about. She wanted to open all the presents, so we let her open up Taty's presents. Taty got some toys, put mostly clothes, and a soft doll. And she helped Austin and I to open up ours, too. Journey mostly liked opening up the presents, she really didn't care what was in the packages.
I got Austin a new jacket, some C/D's, and bunch of clothes. And a man's braclet, I don't know if you call them braclet's. I had his name engraved on it, and on the back of it, I had it engraved with I will always love you, Amber. It is done in white gold, very nice looking.
He got me a necklace and earrings, with Amethyst's and diamonds, it is so beautiful. And he got me some clothes, as well. And he got me a ornament with our pictures on it, and it said, our first Christmas together, and he got Tatyana a Baby's first Christmas ornament for me.
His parents got us a video camera, now to figure out how to burn C/D's from the video to the computer. It is a really nice one. I wish I could figure out how to get pictures on here. My parents got us a new bedset, some towels, mostly house stuff, which we could use big time.
All in all, we had a wonderful Christmas, for our first Christmas together. Very nice day, but very exhausting as well. We did a lot of running around. We had to go to Austin's Grandparents house, my parents, one set of my Grandparents, and over to Matt's Grandma's house. His parents brought Journey's and they got something for Taty, too, but we were at his family party, so they left the presents. So I called them on Christmas day and thanked them. They got them some pajama's and earrings, they both have their ears pierced. Didn't hear a thing from Matt, and he didn't get her anything, but I really didn't think he would. And it isn't like she went without at all.
