Last night one of Austin's old girlfriends came by. His Mom came downstairs and got him, so I went upstairs with him and she gave him a Christmas present. I looked at him, like what! He stood and talked to her for about 15 minutes, then thanked her for the gift. I couldn't believe he even took it from her. When we got downstairs, I said, you are keeping that gift? He said, it isn't a big deal. I said, it's a big deal to me. Do you see me taking gifts from any old boyfriends? Then, he told me that she gave one to him last year. I said, you never told me about that, I said, so what other lies are you keeping from me. He was like, I didn't find it a big deal, never crossed my mind to tell you. He said, it wasn't a secret, just wasn't that big of a deal to remember.
I don't know, I just don't find it right that he took it. He keeps saying it's not a big deal. He's like I don't get her presents. I said, Austin that isn't the point, I'm your girlfriend, going to be your wife and I don't like it. I told him I want him to give it back and tell her not to give him presents anymore. But, he says, she is just being nice. Yeah, Im sure she is being nice, to me a little to nice.
She is always texting him asking how his day is. And I have let that go, thinking well they are friends. Well, now I don't know if I want her even texting him. I told him, I think she wants more, and would love to get back with him. All he says, is I'm worrying over nothing. I got his phone and told her not to text him anymore. I was so pissed off last night. And the more I thought about it the more pissed I got. That is when I got his phone and told her not to text anymore, and the gift was going back.
I told Austin this morning what I did, he was mad. But, I told him I don't like it, and I'm not going to ever like it, so it's ending. And that I wanted the gift returned. He was yelling at me that they are just good friends. I got so mad, I told him to just get the hell out of here and go to work.
His Mom came downstairs and asked what was going on. Which I didn't like that either, I don't like people putting their nose in my business, unless I ask for their opinions. So I told her what was going on and she said, Amber they are just really good friends. I said, for such good friends, Austin has never taken the time to introduce me to her. She thinks I need to just let it go. Now, I'm all confused. Do I just let it go or do I make him give it back? His Mom says, you have nothing to worry about.
I keep thinking how he would like it if I was getting gifts from old boyfriends. Maybe I'm making to much out of it! Now, if it's a personal gift, I'm really going to be mad. She had better not being giving him personal stuff. Like a girlfriend would give.
Ok, enough on my rant. Need to get back to work. If I can put my mind to it......ugh! |
