Well, I've had a bad cold, and now I'm finally getting to feeling better. Luckily neither girl got sick at all, and neither did Austin, just I got sick....ugh!
It has been so cold here, I'm tired of winter I want summer here. Can't get out and really do anything, Journey gets so bored always being in the house. I go to McDonalds now and then, she likes playing there, but I hate her playing in the balls there. I don't really let her play in the balls, there are so many germs in those balls.
Journey's second birthday was on the 11th, we invited some friends to Chuckie Cheese the kids had a lot of fun. She had a blast. We got her a swing set, but it has to stay in the box till spring when we can put it up. But, she got a lot of other toys that she can play with now, so that makes her happy. Can't wait for good weather for she can play outside more, and run some of her energy out. She keeps me going. She is always wanting Grandma or Grandpa to play with her and chase her.
Taty is getting big, she still isn't sleeping through the night, sure wish she would. But, she is only getting up once during the night, but she stays up for an hour or longer. The other night she woke up at 1 and I was so tired, I got up and feed her and she didn't want to go back to sleep. So I turned on the TV and put her in her swing, usually I don't fall back to sleep until I've put her back in bed. But, that night I got her swing going and laid on the couch waiting for her to fall asleep and I feel asleep. I woke up at 4 and she was still awake watching the TV and making noises, so I let her be and fell back to sleep. When Austin woke me up at 6, she was asleep in her swing, so I got up and got in the shower and just let her sleep. Finally, got the girls up and got them breakfast and ran them to my Mom's. I hate nights like that, I was worn out all day long at work.
Austin has put in for jobs, all are out of the state, I don't know how well he will find a job with the economy the way it is. I sure hope it's better by the time he is out of school, but he is working now, so if he doesn't find a job right away, we will be fine.
Well, kids need me, so off to be Mommy! |
