생일축하해 My 14th birthday was two days ago and I have to say that was by far my best birthday yet because everything wasn't extravagant yet very meaningful to me. I received so many amazing wishes from my friends and family but I think it's only proper to wish myself too.

you made it. you made it this far without breaking down. There will be much more arduous obstacles in life that you'll be facing but always remember that you'll pull through it, be it alone or with your friends and family. Each experience is a new lesson to learn from. Never give up and always keep trying. Never forget take mum and dad for granted. They sacrificed a lot for you and you should be grateful to them no matter what.
Learn to be more patient towards your younger brothers even if they make you feel irate and frustrated. Always be observant and pay attention to every little detail. Sometimes, it's the little things in life that can make you happy when you're feeling blue. Feel every emotion. If you're feeling morose and sullen, cry. If you're feeling furious, punch a freaking wall. Don't succumb to this ridiculous idea of pretending to be happy by mustering a smile. Don't do that. Don't pretend to be something you're not. Talking it out helps a lot. Sometimes, it hurts to talk about it and that's okay. You just have to be like water, let the currents take you to wherever it wants to go.
No matter what happens, you'll be alright. You'll be okay in the end. You might not believe this whenever you're facing a tough situation but everything will be fine in the end, trust me. How would you know if you haven't gone through it? How would you know if you didn't try?
Lastly, learn to love yourself. Stop focusing on your insecurities when you look in the mirror and look at what you like about yourself. Be it something small, it doesn't matter. The small things in life are things that matter the most. I know it's difficult, but you're getting there.

Thank you for taking the time to think of what type of present I'd like and spending your money on them. Thank you for even simply wishing me a happy birthday. All of you mean so much to me and I love each and every one of you.
