Dance Hall Reception--150.00/hour (I am thinking 4-6 hours) 900 dollars.

Venue rental--1900.00

Dinner..

140 people @ 45.00 per person--6300.00

Dinner Menu is...

BBQ Chicken

Baked Beans
Corn-on-the-Cob
Potato Salad

Peaceful Valley House Salad: Crisp lettuce with tomatoes, cucumbers and red onions.

Question Are appitizers a must?

Check out Country clubs...you'd be amazed how affordable they can be! Most of them offer their own catering and you can buy a package with beer and soda completely free! My reception for 150 people (yes, it was in 2000 but not THAT much has changed) only cost my parents about $6,000 total. The church only cost us $150 or less...I think your wedding could be much cheaper than you think!

appetizers not a must. Keg depends on you and guest really i mean are they heavy drinkers? My family is so i would want the bar to be extremely full. And you have to remember it might be cheaper to get cases of beer instead of a keg. I threw a party and found out it was cheaper but i only had 40 people.

Definitely one full keg will be good. I wouldnt worry about getting cases of beer, because that's more cleanup, unless they clean up for you. And I'm sure you can find catering for less than $43 a head! We have a lot more on our menu for $17!
