After the toxic debaucle of last issue Redhair Girl made an appointment for a free ultrasound. E went with her, bringing my son Julian and Redhair's daughter Destructogirl without realizing what kind of place the appointment was at. This was a pro-life clinic, one which has signs plastered all over town saying things like "Pregnant? Worried? We can help." The entire point of the place is to get people to come in and then to talk them out of getting abortions.
Redhair girl was called back and E stayed in the waiting room. She got her ultrasound, but she made a mistake and mentioned she was not happy about the pregnancy. So a stern clinic worker lectured her for 2 hours about how she should not have an abortion, how abortion can leave pieces of the baby in her that she will be able to feel in her uterous, how abortion is not safe and will hurt, how the baby can feel it, how it is against religion, etc, etc, etc.
The beauty of this situation is that while this lecture was going on Julian and Destructogirl (both age 3) were in the waiting room with E. My aunt has run a professional day care for 30 years and said that Destructogirl is the worst child she has ever watched. Julian emulates their behavior and together they can destroy every room of a house in under 5 minutes.
The children ran into the Pro-life clinic's waiting room screeching like rape sirens. Destructogirl immediately jumped onto a table and threw a box of tissues at the receptionist. They both said they have to go to the bathroom, took off their clothes and ran into opposite doors into the backroom where children are not supposed to go. They screamed, they spit, they threw things, they overturned tables and chairs, spilled drinks. I think Destructogirl might have even got frustrated and made herself throw up once. E tried to keep control over them but she has Chronic active epstein barr, a condition which leaves her literally as much energy as someone who has mono.
I smile every time I think about this.
In the end Redhair girl made an appointment to have an abortion. But she is still planning to take massive doses of vitamin C in the interim, which can cause health issues on it's own. Will the vitamin C kill her or will Redhair girl have her abortion? Time will reveal the answer. Until then, I hope you are well.
