In Cold Blood

So I've just started reading In Cold Blood by Truman Capote. I'm on page 32.

I am loving this book, really...but I can't help but notice Capote's odd writing style. It's almost ADD... but it's so detailed. He'll be talking about something, painting you a perfect picture of some individual or scenery or event...in then suddenly, mid-sentence sometimes, he will cut himself off and go into a several-sentence long explanation of something connected, but not necessarily relevant to what he was talking about.

I find myself having to really pay attention or I'll get lost. I've had to re-read several paragraphs.

It's...an odd style of writing to get used to reading. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it, though.

Very interesting read thus far.

RYC: Essentially, a podcast is a radio show that is broadcast over the internet instead of like traditional radio that is regulated by the FCC. More or less, it's the new form of Pirate radio.

It's incredibly easy to do, gives you TOTAL freedom to do and say what you want, and it's cheap.

RYC: It is amazing. I love the freedom it gives me to say and do whatever I want. LOL My show is gonna be called the New Age Murda Show, which actually is the name of my old band that I sort of adopted for this.

I'm gonna have all kinds of weird music on there, special guest co-hosts which will range from comic book creators all the way up to movie directors. I'm known for ranting about anything and everything, so you never know what you will hear come out of my mouth.

All that I will promise is that you will hear TONS of random, weird, and eclectic music.
