Today has been a very lazy day for me. I kept Savannah and Paighton last night. Savannah was fine, she's 13 and does for herself. Paighton is 8 months, she was a joy for the first half of the night. She slept for about 2 hours, then got up and I changed her diaper and fed her a bottle and some mac and cheese. She played and laughed for a long time. At about 11 pm, I told Savannah to turn the wii off and go to bed. Melissa and I took Paighton into our room. She went back to sleep and me and Melissa went to sleep. About an hour later Paighton was up crying. I got her back to sleep, but she started waking up about every 15-20 min. So I changed her again. She went back and forth sleeping and crying for a few hours. At about 3 am I made her another bottle, changed her again, and tried feeding her bananas. She was fine, then all of a sudden she let out a loud scream! It scared me half to death. She was restless, so tired but wouldn't sleep. From 3 to 6 she screamed, I tried everything to get her to calm down. Finally at 6am I called her mom and told her I was bringing her home because something was wrong with her. She fell asleep on the way there, but Amanda [her mom] said she woke up screaming when I left. All day today Amanda just has to hold her. She can't lay Paighton down or else she screams. I just got a text saying she was taking Paighton to the hospital. I hope everything is okay!
**UPDATE** Amanda just called me...Paighton has an ear infection and an upper respiratory infection! :[ Poor little girl!!
So needless to say, I'm exhausted today! I feel bad for Melissa though, she had to work this morning, poor baby! And she was up all night trying to help me with Paighton.
Today has also been a crampy day. But my cramps are right in the middle of my lower stomach. They hurt, so I'm trying to just lay around. I'm 6 dpo today. Not too much longer til I can test! :]
