Okay, I need advice, suggestions, help!!
There was an article in the paper today. They are trying to shut down the shelter we volunteer at! They want to shut it down and just store the dogs and cats there until they find somewhere else for them to go.....along with the solid waste they will be storing in the same building. How awful is that?!
We are all writing letters to the editor! There is a meeting next Monday at 8am at the courthouse so that we can have our say in the matter. But what else can we do?? There has to be more! We have to fight for these animals because they can't fight for themselves!!!!
If they shut down the shelter, these animals will be put out on the street or sent to other shelters to be euthanized because they don't have room for them. That's not fair!! These animals deserve a chance to find their forever home! They deserve to be loved and taken care of!
So, please... if you have any suggestions on how we can fight this, let me know! We don't have much time to fight, but we WILL fight until the end!!!

They probably can't afford it. You need to start a petition or something, talk to the wealthier people around. See if they're interested in donating.
