OKay, so it's 2am. I'm still awake. Mainly because in the past hour, the cops have been to my house TWICE. It's not their fault, they have to do their job. I know that. The neighbors are at it again. They haven't given us any problems in so long. I thought it was over. But at 1am the cops came. Said they had a complaint about our dogs barking. [we didn't hear them, but whatever.]
I went outside and stood there for about 15 minutes. they maybe barked twice. I yelled at them to be quiet. [now, you tell me what the difference is. either they hear the dogs barking or hear me yelling at them.] Other than those few times, they were quiet. I went back in. We took the other dogs out front to use the bathroom. The dogs out back were still quiet. We took the dogs back in and about 5 minutes later, the cops were knocking on the door again. Said they got yet ANOTHER complaint about the dogs barking. I told him that I had just come in, I had been out there almost the whole time and they hadn't been barking. He aplogized and said he just had to come out when he got a call. [Although he said he had more pressing issues than dogs barking.] He asked if we could bring them inside for the night. So I agreed. Now I have 6 dogs in my house. 2 of which hate being in the house and act all crazy. [2 of them I wish weren't even here and I wish their owner would hurry up and get back.]
The cop told me if he had to come out anymore he would have to cite me. I just don't want to have to go through this all over again. I'm absolutely sick of it. SICK OF IT!! Last time all of this happened I went and filled out papers to press harassment charges. All they got was a paper saying that they needed to stop. They weren't allowed to have any contact with us. [then about 2 weeks later, I got the same paper from them.]
So what do I do now? What steps can I take? I just want to lead a peaceful life. I just want to have a good summer preferably with no cops involved. I want to live my life without fear. Fear that the cops are gonna show up just because my dogs make a little peep.

holy freaking shit I cannot believe they are so obsessive even after all this time! I don't know if this would constitute as a breach of the agreement made when that letter was sent to them or not. All you can do is try and see if you can finally press actual charges now that they are at it again! I'm not positive it would work and the worst thing that could happen is the judge fines you or makes you get rid of your dogs to end the feud so it would be a risky move! I wish I knew how to help on this one but I am simply at a loss for words! I hope things get better baby girl! I love you lots!
I agree with the other noters. DOGS BARK. If you do not want to hear dogs barking, I suggest they move to a farm in the middle of no where! I have a dog (who does bark, but mainly only if someone rings the doorbell & he's in side). My neighbors have a little dog who barks. My other neighbors have a dog who barks, and the neighbors behind me barks. Big deal. LOL. They are dogs.
