id have no luck at all
so i go to pick up my police report today, and find out that they made it my fault. they said i failed to yeild right of way. what i dont understand is how did she have the right of way when she was parked?? im gonna try to go to the pd tomorrow to discuss it with them.
so i ended up going to the er last night because my back was still hurting from the wreck. they diagnosed me with muscle strain and contusion, gave me pain meds and sent me home.
tonight we were cleaning out our spare bedroom and putting boxes in my cousins van to take to the storage building tomorrow morning. i picked up a box from inside and went walking down my back porch steps. as i was coming out, my cousin was coming in so i moved over a little bit. we have a concrete block at the bottom of the stairs...when i stepped on it i stepped too far and slipped off the edge. both of my feet flipped onto the tops and i slid aross the driveway. i turned over screaming in pain. i tried to stand but couldnt move. my cousin came and picked me up and carried me in the house. both of the tops of my feet were skinned. my right foot was swollen and i had a "knot" on the outiside side of it. melissa cleaned up the scrapes and i tried walking again but i couldnt put any weight on my right foot. then my toes started turning purple. since mel has to work in the morning, my cousin took me to the er. they took xrays and it turns out the "knot" is my bone. i broke the 5th metatarsal bone. the doctor said if it had broken any farther down it would have required surgery! thank god it wasnt that bad. so my foot is in a splint and i have to go get a boot and some crutches.
so yes, i have decided... this is totally not my week!!!
gonna lay down now...getting sleepy! wish me luck sleeping with this splint on!

I can't. Believe they would say it's your fault when you obviously did have the right away. Man, you fall sounds painfull. Eshk. I hope you recover quickly!
