stressed but happy
its been so hectic here lately. little one year old paighton had to have tubes put in her ears. the next day she was taken to the dr with an eye infection, the next day she was taken to the dr for strep throat. a few days later she was taken back to the dr and they told her she had bronchitis. but even with all the meds she was running a 103.6 fever and throwing up. wouldnt eat or drink for days. after being taken to the er three different times they finally ran the tests they needed to and the poor baby had rsv and viral pneumonia. she was very dehydrated and had to be admitted. her o2 dropped to 82 and they didnt know if she was going to make it. there was nothing they could do for her. but finally she started getting better and finally came home to us yesterday!! only problem is, shes stopped drinking again. i hope they didnt release her too soon.
while she was in the hospital, i was here with the other three kids playing fill in mommy. and now im exhausted. lol but i loved it. good news is, before paighton went into the hospital, she started getting brave enough to start walking by herslef in between two people. she took her first 4 or 5 steps to me!!! hopefully she will actually be walking soon.
in other news, has anyone heard of the guy that killed his uncle in tennessee and then burned the house down to get rid of the body? he got arrested along with his girlfriend brandy wiseman. yeah, brandy is my cousin. its so weird to see her all over the news. shes only 19. and has a 1 year old and a 3 week old newborn. she was an accesory to the murder after the fact because she didnt tell the police after she found out. her bail is $100,000. and she might be facing 30 years.
its so sad. i grew up with that girl!
its just really weird.
