Update on my Dr. appt.

Okay so back in July I went to the ER for the same pain. They didn't know what it was...did an ultrasound and sent those results to my dr. When I called for the results the desk lady said everything came back normal.

When I went in today for my pain, I reminded my dr of these results for the same pain. She looked in my chart and read me the results.....

I have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome.
They have known all this time and told me everything was normal!!!!!!!! grrrrrr.
Anyways- I have cysts on my ovaries and apparently the reason I haven't been able to get pregnant is because my ovaries aren't releasing eggs. So I have another ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow and then they are going to schedule me to se an OBGYN. and they said once they get it treated, I should have a better chance at getting pregnant.

For right now, I'm going to lay down. I feel sick and I'm tired from the pain pills. [which my dr. upped, so they are working better.]

I know that it doesnt make you happy that you have that, BUT you should be happy that it answers why you haven't been able to concieve! Maybe once this gets taken care of you will have better luck! Good luck, hope they can treat it soon!

my old best friend has that.. and she just had a baby.. so there is hope.. it sucks the dr didn't tell you everything up front and was so stupid! I would be pissed. Hopefully now things get straightened out and taken care of.

fucking asses! i was mis-diagnosed too. i dont have pcos i just have lesions at this stage...but my original dr told me it was nothing too...i hate dr's

how fucking frustrating!!! I'm so sorry PCOS sucks.. there are tONS of support groups.. and I know of one ill have to get on my other computer for women w/PCOS who are TTC

WOWZ.. That really sucks that they had this info the whole time and told u everything was ok.. At least now YOU know what's wrong and hopefully once you get treated you'll conceive right away!! Good luck with everything!!
