I have been kinda busy but not really lately getting ready for Joshua's mom to come which has turned into a bigger pain then I originally thought. One night almost leading to my divorce and still very well might depending on how her visit goes.
Last week my kitchen flooded. I got a hose so I could spray off my concrete out back because my dog is a dumb ass and doesn't know how to pee in the grass. Well no matter whether we have company or not I hate when its stained on there so I was going to clean it. SO I hooked it up and went to rinsing off the concrete. I was going to come inside and grab the soap and scrubber and when I opened the door low and behold my freaking kitchen is flooded the whole way through and seeping into the laundry room. I was so pissed. I called maintenance they came and wet vac'd it all up and then the heating cooling guys came to replace the bib under the sink. I guess the people who lived here before us let the pipes freeze and so when I turned on the hose it was leaking through the gigantic crack in the pipe.
Other then those two things my life has been pretty uneventful. My dog is still an asshole, and I guess my mother in law plans on coming here and training her for us because we have no idea what we are doing (this is what she has told family up north) and I can promise you this will cause many a many problems. Molly knows the commands, she is just bossy and without a treat or something in her benefit she will not do it. That's like after the kitchen flooded she had to stay locked in her kennel because she wouldn't stay out of it and the base makes us when the workers are here. So I take her out walk her to the back door to go outside and go to the bathroom she looks outside, looks at me and comes inside and takes a gigantic doo on my carpet in the living room . I was pissed. And I know she did it cause I had her locked up, that is the way she is. Behavior issues. Not training issues. Its a matter of her learning she is not boss and she has to obey without a treat.
To me there is a certain level of respect you need to have when in someone else's house. You don't come in here telling me how to do things or taking over everything you just don't. If you want to offer to help fine, if I tell you no don't take offense. But it isn't going to go like that, and we both know it, even Joshua does. So let's just hope she is sensible enough to keep that respectful distance. Stay at my place that is fine, why waste money on a hotel. But stay here, visit, etc, don't take over. So I am keeping my fingers crossed she gets smart but if she has already stated her plans to his family then I am not going to get my hopes up too high.
