After doing quite a bit of research online, I've decided to start the "Master Cleanse." Not only is it an effective way to rid the body of toxins, it also promotes weightloss to a certain degree.
For about ten days, more if I choose to, I'll drink nothing but a concoction of lemon juice, maple syrup, cayanne pepper, and warm water. I have to drink this at least six times a day, or up to twelve if I see fit. Then, at night I'm supposed to drink a laxative tea and wake up in the morning and drink 32 oz. of salt water. Yummy.
After the cleanse, I have to wean myself back onto a regular diet, but I'm planning on cutting out a lot of red meat, sticking mostly to fish, poultry, and fresh fruits and veggies.
Until I have to money to buy what I need for the cleanse, I'm going to keep drinking protien shakes for breakfast and lunch and end the day with a can of light tuna for a grand total of maybe 1,000 calories a day.
No more chocolate, chex-mix, milk, or frozen meals, among other things.
I haven't really used this journal as to what I intended it to be, and I've neglected the promises I made to myself. But, I can't do it anymore. Its getting to be too much.
