Today marks the first day of my cleanse. And, I'm not half-assing it.
The mix of lemon juice, maple syrup, water, and cayenne pepper is awful. But, it isn't bad when I hold my nose. Only five more glasses to go tonight.
I drank the Senna tea last night. It didn't taste bad, but it also didn't do its job. It is supposed to be a laxative, but it just made me sleepy. Oh well. I have to drink the saline solution today. Sea salt suspended in water. Yum.
It does help curb your hunger though. I work up really hungry, but now I'm not. And, I haven't even finished this glass yet. It is gonna take some getting used to, not being able to chew, but its not so bad. Plus, its only ten days of this.
My friend isn't doing the cleanse with me, she couldn't down the concoction. But, we are still going to work out together during the week. And, I'm happy. She and I used to be really close, but over the past couple of years we've been drifting apart. She is still in highschool, and I'm busy trying to juggle being a full-time student and a full-time worker and pay bills, and clean my house, and cook, and everything else that goes along with being a home owner.
On another note, I might be working in the pharmacy at my CVS. And, that means more hours and more money. Which I could really used right now. And, I'm hoping that my boyfriend can get either of the two jobs he applied for at the airport. Working there sucks, I know from experience, but it will be more money than he's making now, and a ton more hours.
As for finding a new place to live, no such luck. Every apartment building I've tried will not allow duel applicancy, but that is the only way that we make rent each month. By the both of us putting half in. We could never afford this place on our own, either of us. Same with any other apartment. I wish finding somewhere wasn't so hard, but it is. Oh well, I'll find a place someday, I have to.
