Is the day over yet??? I am so exhausted!!! I didn't even work today had the day off too!! But I did spend all day in the sun, we had our base picnic today and I set out in the sun for 5 hours. Did meet the new General and the New Command chief today and they seem very supportive of the Enlisted Spouse Club!!! We ended up giving away 2 baskets a Yankee Candle Christmas one and a Avon Skin So Soft basket, all donated by members in the ESC, so it was cool!! I even scored 4 tickets for my son for Black Label Society, I have no idea who the heck they are but I guess they have some connection to Ozzy!
Tomorrow will be a busy day too, I have a hair appt at 11:30 then a fund raising event for my girl friends little girl, she is disabled now and they are needing help to purchase a handicap lift for their van, you can go here to read her story www.kierrascourage.com. When she was 7 months old, she was in the hospital a normal pretty much healthy little girl and ended u[p coding and now is blind, will never walk and has some brain damage!!! I was with her mom when we got to the hospital right after she coded and saw her with all the tubes and such, it was awful and a picture in my head I will never ever forget.
