I don't blame you for being so mad. If someone had my children in a drug dealer's house, I would be breaking down that door, with a pistol ready to shoot somebody if they didn't give me my kids. Then the dumb ass police would do something about it.

Um... Okay not to be mean but if you really think that you should know that Ohio doesn't recognize common law marriage.

And the usual mistake is thinking that after 7 years of being together, you're common law married. That's not true in ANY state. If 7 years is wrong, 6months is insane.

That's crazzy as hell! Your their mom you should be able to get your kids. I've seen stuff like this happen before. A few times the cops helped and other times they didn't do shit. I really hope you are able to get those kids out of that enviroment asap.

oh man that sucks!!! i do think you're mistaken on the common law marriage thing but i know that if you two haven't set up any kind of custody & stuff then he can do that without going to jail, you're just going to have to take him to court and figth him, i'm so so so so sorry ugh that sucks so bad!!!

RYC: no hes never been around him for longer then maybe 10 mins..I want to tell him lets do a trial and maybe stay with him for like a week or something and if its not working out after a week ill leave and he wont ever hear from me again...but I doubt hes even willing to do that ugh!

hey! im in Ohio too! the 6 month thing is sooo not true girl, i know this! Look up Ohio laws! I hope he gives them back to you. Especially with Kaiden, he cannot take him! Thats kidnapping! you need to go INTO the police station and tell them that if they don't come with you to get your children then they are putting them at risk. I'd be down at the station raising hell..or getting someone to go with you over to the house to get the kids.. what about your dad or someone? How did he get the kids anyways

OMG!!!!! I cant believe this. Can u call DCF/CPS whatever it is called there. i am sure they could help u out. i would have gone 2 the news with this. im sure the police would have done something then.

I know in alabama you have to SAY that you are married, like you have to claim that he's your husband. you need to look into common law marriage laws in your state.
