Ok so its been next to forever since I've updated. I've just spent the last 8 months living with this guy and things just really aren't going to work out on that one. So we're split up but he's still living in my apartment, he has no job, drinks too much and acts like an ass but he treats my son like gold and is the most awesome babysitter. I guess its cause his maturity level is the same as my autistic 3 yr old's. But we make pretty good friends most of the time and I've gotten really good at ignoring the times when we aren't. But that's irrelevant.
I took off a year from school cause I couldn't afford that and everything. But I've already got my financial aid for the fall and I'm going back fulltime. I really need to finish school so I can get out of my piece of shit job and onto something better.
I hate my job. I don't just dislike it on some days...I HATE my FUCKING job. Fast food management is the lowest paid and hardest working job I've had, and no one cares about us. I swear when a customer screams in my face because they didn't want mayo but forgot to tell the cashier that I find it difficult to hold back from stabbing out their eyes and feeding them to a stray cat.
So the guy I'm into right now. His name is Frankie and he's super cute and totally awesome. I work with him which isn't the best thing but you can't help who you fall for. He's been chasing me for a lil while now, I've gotten to where I play hard to get for awhile. Makes me feel better that he's had to work for it. We are hanging out again tomorrow...I'm sooooo excited. His son is 2 weeks older then austin.
Austin is doing awesome. The speech therapy, occupation therapy and physical therapy have helped so much. He was in the special education preschool this past year and you can tell a vast difference. He's got the summer off and then its back to preschool in August. He's turned out to be a very smart kid, its just hard because his disability holds him back a lot. Seeing him next to frankie's kid shows just how far behind he is. I love my baby anyway, and being Autistic isn't his fault. I just hope he's caught up by kindergarten. We are having such a hard time getting him potty trained. I'm starting to feel like we never will. We have really good days and then really bad days. But we're working on it.
That's like a very brief synopsis of what's been going on. I'll try updating even more as we go on. Hope things are good for all of you!!
