I am a proud supporter of To Write Love On Her Arms Day. To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery.

To Write Love On Her Arms Day is a day where anyone can write the words love on their arms, to support those who are fighting against depression and those who are trying to recovering. On this day, just write love on your arms, and show it off, other people will ask why you have love written on your arms, and you tell them you are supporting to write love on her arms day, and how its benefiting a non profit organization helping stop depression, and make love the movement ♥
Inspire. Encourage. Love.

As a person who suffered from depression, self-injury, and past suicide attempts...this rally/event/cause means a lot. I was close to killin myself in 11th grade. Back then, I felt unfortunate that i was found. At that same time...it was also discovered that i was a cutter. I am ashamed of this, yes, because those scars will never go away. But i use those scars as not a reminder of what almost happened....but i use them as a reminder of what DIDNT happen.
If it wasnt for the love of the ppl around me...idk where i'd be today...or if i even would be here.
I guess all im tryin to say...is i support TWLOHA and everything they stand for.

I have scars on my arms too, from middle school and high school when I had no one to talk to, no one for support and no one to care. I'm so glad TWLOHA is around now to help people struggling with things in life. ჻ೋ჻
Unfortunately, I did not realize that this was happening on Friday and I saw it 3 hours before it was over 
I suffer from Major Depressive Disorder and Post Traumatic Stress disorder and the therapist is fairly sure I have Asperger's as well... BUT... the only reason I don't want to write on my arms... is I'm paranoid about writing on my skin... yeah it sounds ridiculous I'm sure... but... I wanted to thank you for supporting this.... I mean so many people older than myself still have a stigma about depression and such ... and it's disease not unlike diabetes except it's an issue with your mind.
