I was so nauseous last night, I couldn't type. I had the page open and everything , and I was just to nauseous. My evening was already off to a eh start. Remember how I mentioned it was cold and snowy...Well I got my trans-am STUCK. For the record I've never been stuck in the 4 years I have had my license so I was pretty heated. Then I got home and my body just won't function. Its like invasion of the body-snatchers! If all pregnancy's were this miserable this early our abortion rate would be sky-rocketing high! Speaking of the pregnancy I have an appointment with the Woman's Pregnancy Center this next Tuesday. I got to see my best-friend last night, first time since she got out of jail for her 2 DUI's. She's pregnant as well (obviously that was after the DUI's) She's 2/3 months ahead of me and is having a little boy. She's my "anyone can do it story". She is 20, got involved with a 28 year old married man with two kids (we didn't know he was married at first). Well after she found out he was married they split up, then got back together, then split up, then got back together. You get the picture. Well this went on for a year. It ruined a few of her friendships, damaged her relationship with her family. Then she got pregnant. She is completely free of him now, doesn't want anything to do with him. She is keeping the baby and doing it on her own with support from just her family and me. She has no job, no car, no license even if she had a car, and due to the DUI crap she had to drop out of college. But shes making it work.
My point in telling you all of this. I have a great boyfriend who has a decent job, Another semester of college done, a reliable car, A huge..I mean HUGE family support system. I'm so much better off and yet here we are seriously considering abortion. I don't know maybe we are looking for the easy out. Me and my boyfriend are both pretty spoiled. I know that if we go to term 3 vehicles have to be sold and two of them will have to be replaced with more economic baby-friendly vehicles. He DOES NOT want to sell his truck. Its a Dodge Dakota R/T, for those of you who don't know vehicles its basically a V8 performance truck with a limited production number. Main issues with this truck, it has no back seat or even a center seat and it gets like 14 to the gallon. IF he only owned one vehicle it'd be easy to buy just a cheap baby friendly car. No he owns 3. A mud truck turned into rock crawler project and a 68 notch-back Barracuda track car project. ALL 3 VEHICLES ARE IN THE PROCESS OF BEING REDONE. As previously mentioned we both live at home (I'm 19 and in college) (Hes 26 and mommy does everything for him plus he has his own 2 car shop at home) but frankly if we buckle down sell my t-a and his Dakota and Rock crawler project, buy two more gas friendly vehicles that you can ACTUALLY put a baby in, I only take 2-3 classes next semester and find a new job (due to health issues I cant do my old job, I was a dance instructor) ..Yeah It'll be rough, money will be a little tight, we have to give up some things that we really don't want to, but I see no logical reason other than this is literally going to be hell on my body( and already is) that we can't have this kid. Maybe we just aren't ready... |
