The past month or so I have gone on a few coffee dates. Let me explain
Behind door Number One .
We seem to be able to hold a conversation. However, I dont find the conversation to interesting. He isn't a bad lookin guy but I could see my eyes easily wondering. We have hung out several times. I didn't think we had that "spark" but i was still willing to test out the waters untill the last time we hung out which made it clear this
was a right off. He brought up the topic sex & virgins. To sum it up he basically said they all play mind games, they are to insecure about themselves, they aren't really good and they hard to get rid of once you are broken up. Last but not least he dealt with them in the past & thats where they should say. Ps; I
am a virgin. Don't get me wrong we all have a
right to our own opinions, i understand that. But, couldn't have he stated his opinion a little more nicely
considering he had no idea if i was or wasnt?
I am a sensitive person but am pretty sure the fool just stuck his foot in his mouth!
Door Number Two The conversation went fairly well. We seem to agree on several of the same things. He did do alot of talking, which i was completely fine with since most of the time i feel like am conducting an interview. I could
not stop taking my eyes off of him (: However, a week went by & he did not ask me to hangout again. Am
pretty sure i can't use the whole "he's shy line" since he told me he wasn't & it didn't seem like it at all when we first met. However, i did something completely out of character & just asked him if he wanted to hang out again. He said " im down". He said he would text me on monday since he would know what his schedule would look like better & we could pick a date. It's Midnight on monday - no text.
Sure, its a little dissapointing but atleast i wont regret not asking him! EDIT Last time we talked he seemed to be a little down. I asked him if it would be crossing the line if i asked him what got him down? It took him a bit to reply but he said hmm.. not at all. Turned out he saw his ex for the first time since they broke up which was six months ago. I asked him if he still had feelings for her? He said, i dont think so. I know I would never date her again. I dont have the feelings i did have for her anymore. She just knows how to push my buttons & i think i let her since i dont have any one else at the moment.
He did text me this morning apologized about being last minute and all but asked if i wanted to go for coffee!
Behind Door Number Three My bestfriend grandma wanted to set me up with her nephew. They had the "world of wheels" here this weekend & her nephew had a car in the show. I decided to go with my friend just to meet this guy - making it more casual then a date. Well, it turns out his whole family was
there & knew this was a
set up . That made it more awkard but I had a good laugh. In a nut shell, her grandma gave him my phone number. He just got out of a bad relationship. So, when he recieved the number he said "shes knows i dont want to rush into anything serious". My friend grandma said " I know, its just to hangout thats all". He told his mom " I was nice " lol. It has been 2 days now but i figuered he would be busy this weekend with the car show. He is
very shy too. I think if he dosen't phone by tomorrow, i might get a
little discouraged.

Random: I think Door Number Two is better. If you can hold a better conversation with him and be able to look at him, there might be some potential. I hope this helps.
