So it is almost 6:15 Friday morning. I'm hardly ever up this early. I tend to sleep as late as I possibly can and get up with just enough time to get ready. This morning, I've already showered, and I am dressed except for socks and shoes. But that's because I didn't go to sleep. LOL
My uncle called around 7:00 last night and told me that he was three hours away and wanted to come visit. So we decided that he and his wife would come this way and stay with us in our small apartment that has a futon in the living room. He thought they would get there at 10:00 or so, but it ended up being nearly 12:30 when they got to town. And husband was supposed to get off work at 10:00, but it was at least midnight before he got home. Once we were all at the apartment, we sat around visiting and catching up since it has been a couple years since we've spent any time together. Not being certain how long they intended to stay, I didn't want to waste time sleeping. LOL. So I made a conscious decision to stay up all night, assuming they did as well. And they did.  By 4:00, I KNEW I wasn't going to get any sleep. But it was a great night. And I think they're staying tonight as well. Maybe Saturday night too but I'm not sure. They have to be back home by Monday.
The only bad thing about this is that today is the last day of the work month, which is the longest and busiest day at work for me. And this particular one is even more so than normal because some people are out so I get to do their work, too. Before I head into work, I'm going to go pick up some sugar to keep me running. I'm pretty sure I'll need it.
