So I found this online calculator to see if we are eligible for the food stamp program in our state. I kind of had mixed feelings to discover that we are not eligible. It was a reminder that if we didn't have the debt that we do, we would be managing this a lot better. We wouldn't be what you call comfortable but we wouldn't be eating just scrambled eggs for dinner. We would probably be having bacon, too! Haha. But I'm kind of glad we can't do food stamps because that's embarrassing.
On that note, if you don't have debt, don't get any. And if you do, pay it off!!
